So we started a new series on Monday night on different charters of in the Bible
we also got off on bunny trails so here are the links if you wanna read more about those

One of my students is going down to Mardi Gras to preach the Gospel so we talked a little about the history of the event

After talking about how effective preaching at such an event was I told her a little about Burning man and how I had thought of getting a group together to go and provide some kind of service in Jesus name, not preach but something useful, we ended up not because of all the naked underage people

This is the lesson we did, it was great the re look at Joseph and learn from his life.

GIVE ME A J Joseph
Pharaoh said, “Who could do it better than Joseph?  For he is a man who is obviously filled with the spirit of God” (Genesis 41:38 NLT).
JOSEPH’S LIFE AT A GLANCE:
·      Was his Father's favorite son
·      Sold into slavery by his jealous brothers
·      Gains trust of his master, Potiphar, and is put in charge of household
·      Refuses to sleep with Potiphar's wife
·      Potiphar's wife accuses Joseph of rape
·      Thrown into prison
·      Prison guards like Joseph and put him in charge
·      Begins interpreting dreams
·      Correctly interprets Pharaoh's dream
·      Is put in charge of Egypt!
·      Forgives his brothers
LESSONS FROM JOSEPH’S LIFE:
Do what’s RIGHT, despite the CONSEQUENCES.
God can make a BAD situation GOOD.
My RESPONSE is more important than my EXPERIENCE.
Thought for the week:
God can work THROUGH me no matter what happens TO me!
