So I was at this seminar thing in Portland a while back with all these Pastors and people that worked in the Churches. The title of the conference was "Breaking down the walls"

which is cool, Church should be in the community and not hold on to buildings as the body of Christ.

The main speaker was great, a big wig in the salvation Army, an incredible speaker, hey speaking of incredible did any one catch that in the movie The Incredibles when Mr. Incredible was in the space probe thing he had mimosa’s? How funny is that?

Well this Salvation Army guy really brought the point you have to get out in the community to really show God’s love I was like “Ya and?” So that was great

I went to one where this guy who had started a after school program was teaching so I knew it was going to be pretty useful, so he starts talking then stops and asks us all to introduce ourselves with our name, position at the Church, and something that makes us happy, so that’s cool right

First person go’s and the happy thing was like God’s love in our Churches….Ahhhhhh…….how sweet..then

Second guy happy thing the holy spirits work in Churches today…..so was thinking well ya all those things make all of us happy cause we all work at Churches

DuH……..So the girl before me said the thing that makes me happy is I’m pregnant with our first child, everyone claps and is all gushhyyy

So it came to me and I was like in my head (“Play nice....should I cheese it up or not”) well I chose not to go all Pastor on them and I said "My names Jonathan I’m the Associate pastor and what makes me happy is blowing bubbles in my Chocolate milk…………no one said anything…

come on who doesn’t like doing that?......so the speakers looks at me and kinda smiles and says ok….well that’s great…..hey I was just trying to show people that little things could make you happy also….

The point to my story is we don’t have to look at huge things like God’s love or the Holy spirits work in our world those things are wonderful but little things can make you happy to. So please add to my list of things that make you happy!
