Day two
We got up way to early like 7:30 ate breakfast took a pic in front of friendly street church. We learned that the Pastor had jumped off the same bridge we are jumping off on Monday so that was fun.
We got to Salem Capitol building and were ready to give some free hugs. When we got there their was a few guys there giving away free massages, weird ha? They were doing more of a protest against regulations for massage therapists, anywaz Valerie got a massage then I started but the guys were really rough and that goodness another lady came up and started asking all these questions so they hooked her up.
Funny thing at the capitol building they have this huge fountain in front, actually it’s water spouting out of the ground but this mantence guy came and put a bunch of bleach in the system then one of the kids decided it would be cool to run through it and get all shaken wet….which one of the kids? Well it was a girl and not Lindsey, Valerie, or Annie……yes it was Ashley, she smelled like bleach all day.
We ended up being able to come to Portland a day early so that rocked, we’ll be here at New Song for three nights, it’s like our little home we took over two rooms and are trying to contain all our activities to those, we got to help them put stickers on water bottles for an event they have coming up so that was great to be able to serve them like that.
