Believe Blog
Leading up to Believe,
Well coming home from NYC was very exciting, I was excited to get all ready for Believe I had a few things left to figure out
1) I needed a girl leader since the one I thought was going to be able to go on the event had to stay home and fill out college apps
2) I needed to get train tickets for the crew and
3) I had to make sure I had money for us to go to the market
So I called like six different girls to see if they could be a leader and all had other things going on one wanted to go but was concerned that she would be the only girl leader so she finally said no, so I gave myself till 5:00 on Thursday to find one before I had to call the girls and tell them they couldn’t go…so like 4:30 I thought ….how about Katie the old intern…. she’s not old she was the intern last year and now worked for spot…. So I went down to talk to her and she said YES I was so excited I jumped up and gave her a big hug it was awesome!! So one thing down two to go
So I called the train station and found out more people were taking to the train that day and they were all sold out, so WOW…ok…I called like three van rental places and all of them didn’t have vans or quoted me like $450 so I got budget and they were cheap and had a van available to pick up next day so off I went to get the van Friday at 2:00 kids showing up at the church at 3:00………..so off we went
I don’t know how it started but whenever I leave for a youth trip I stop at 7-11 before we head out so that’s what we did Yummy I like slurppees……………more to come!!
