Scooter

It was a cold and rainy day in October, Shanna was in Disneyland with Addison and my mom (SHHHHH don't tell Jaden) and I had been talking to this guy about a scooter he had in Centralia, that's like an Hour or so away. The scooter he had was pretty good it was a 1985 Honda Elite he had repainted it black and army green so I thought it would be suiting for me, also he was a single dad and I felt bad that I had talked him from $500 to $300 but it needed a starter and it didn't have a kick start....so before we left to go check it out I looked one more time on the greatest treasure site in the world www.craigslist.com and behold another scooter similar but with a much more desperate plee from the owner that he “Needed to sell it fast” he sent me a picture and wow was it in need of repair, I called and asked him about his price and he was willing to deal so off we went...We got there and it was in an car repair place I talked to him for a while and found out he was a mechanic and had done a lot of work on the Scooter including rebuilding the carburetor. Like I said it was rainy so I said we would go to get some lunch and be back when it cleared. We ate then it cleared and I went back to take a little test drive.......WOW I got on this scooter and gave it the gas and it took off, I had only ridden 50cc scooters up to this point and this one was an 80cc how does30cc make so much difference? Anyway I got it brought it home and started the repair process. The front flaring was broke so I fixed it with metal strapping and bolts, I also busted up the visibility with some super cool orange duct tape. This scooter is super fun to ride and I'm having so much fun riding it!!

Awesome, J! Let's see, that's you, Jackson on his Vespa, Meeks on his 600 and me - anyone else on staff that is in the church's motorcyle gang?

Don't forget, need your dad's address!
