Hello all out there in BLOG land, So here I am trying to squeeze in a blog in between middle school camp with I just got back from and Mexico Mission trip I leave for in three Days.
WOW, we did a chili’s fundraiser night and it was so much fun!! We had so many people show up from our church it was great to see so much support for the youth ministries. We had them bring this giant chili the Sunday before and I’m sure that helped and I ran down the Aisle in church on Sunday service throwing chili’s into the audience so of course that was a lot of fun also.
Middle school camp…..a great time we had 27 students come to the camp I ran it and our music genius Chris went with us. We took a bus so that was a hoot to have the camp start before we got there with fun and craziness. It was so great to have support from other areas in the church.
The last night we did a dive in movie where we set up the sound and projector at the pool and watched a movie….it was JAWS!!
Our cook was Ana who was in children’s ministry but is now doing bulletin weddings, phones, and anything else that needs to be done. We had a afternoon all guys so that was neat to Burp and Fart without any girls around…smelly…..Over all for my first middle school camp planning and running the camp it was great! I could not have done it without my amazing assistant Kari and our new addition to our volunteers Westie who all the guys think is the cool’iest and all the girls probable think is cool. The food was great the students were great for the most part only one injury!…Good times
Well here we go again on Monday I leave for the Last High School Mission trip of the year!! We are going to Mexico to the YWAM base where we will be doing all kinds of ministry things!! I’ll fill you in when I get back!!
Also I have set up a new message thingy so if you want to get info about different things we are doing I will be updating it every once in awhile I will also send out inspiring quotes when I remember! Just TEXT generationyouth one word to 41411 and reply Y when asked!
